Get remote learning support and get active with peers in this small-group, enriched learning camp from Traditional Okinawan Karate of Pleasant Valley.
Campers will log on to their school Google meets each day with the support of our staff. There will also independent learning time, free play, outside time (weather permitting) and of course the benefits of martial arts instruction throughout the day for movement breaks and Physical Education enrichment.
School age children may sign up. We encourage you to invite friends to join your camper. Camp is open to current students and non-students. No prior experience is required.
Location: The campers will be dropped off at our karate school at 17 North Ave. in Pleasant Valley.
Camp Drop off: 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Drop off procedure: Campers temperatures will be taken in the morning in the lobby. If a camper has a fever at any point during camp, for the safety of all staff and campers, they will be sent home. Also, please be prepared to answer COVID-19 screening questions. Please do not come to camp if your camper has had symptoms of COVID-19, notify us if anyone they’ve come in contact has tested positive or if they have travelled outside of the state.
Staff will be wearing masks. Campers should wear masks to check in.
Camp Pick up: 3 to 4 p.m.
Rates: The cost is $50 per day for 3 days/week. $55 per day for 2 days. $60 per day for 1 day.
Dates: The camp will be closed when school districts close for their holiday/break dates.
Payment: You will receive an invoice to be paid monthly, unless otherwise agreed. If your student cannot attend on a day already paid, they may make up during the month or request virtual coaching.

Safety information: The camp will comply with state guidelines for safety. Campers will stay in groups of 15 or fewer. Campers will be required to bring a mask to be worn when social distancing can’t be maintained. Staff and campers temperature will be taken at drop off.
