2023 Chinto Kata Seminar by Mr. Levitz

Traditional Okinawan Karate of Kinnelon, LLC

Mr. Levitz will be teaching a special seminar on Chinto Kata hosted by the Kinnelon Dojo on Saturday, November 18th, 2023. The seminar will be open to all students in Divisions 3 and 4 who have completed or are expected to complete Chinto Kata before the date of the seminar. The cost of this seminar is $150 and includes 5 hours of classes and lunch. Following class, we will be going out for dinner. There is an additional $50 cost for the dinner.

The seminar topic will be Chinto Kata, history, Bunkai, and much more which will include reviewing the performance of the moves in fine detail. Even Mr. Donovan will be able to learn new things. This is an especially great opportunity since Mr. Levitz is the authority on how our moves are done. There will be a comparison of how we do it, vs. what is typical of Isshin Ryu, vs. how other styles often perform their versions. Mr. Levitz is a student of Kata Archeology. He will show the basic Bunkai (Analysis), and additionally some of the advanced Bunkai.

Mr. Levitz primarily teaches assistants and instructors, so this is a special opportunity to take an advanced class with an expert teacher.
Completed online registration and payment are due by Thursday, October 26th, 2023. No late registrations will be accepted. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Space is limited – apply early.
